Today was a SUPER day!
First, I learn that the LabRats team on Etsy is now official and it seems we are going to rock! I can’t wait to get to know all the cool members and take part in our first ever team. The blog was already pretty active even before becoming official, and it looks like it’s only going to get better!
Then, to top everything off, I learned that I had won the SUPER cute Kite Tote from itsastitch’s giveaway! I don’t tend to win things often, so it was a great feeling and I love the prize. I think it will work great for carrying my items to and from my classes when I teach! Speaking of teaching, I have almost completed my first week of school and things seem to be going smoothly!
Plus, outside of etsy, my husband and I are looking at houses! We’re hoping to buy our first home sometime in the near future, which is a VERY exciting next step!
So all in all…feeling GREAT!

Garage Sale Update
The first day of the city wide garage sale has come to an end. After a long day of walking around and finding random bargains, but none button related, Mil and I were going to call it a day. As we neared my apartment we decided to go to one last sale. Mil had noticed and pointed it out earlier because a cute antique couch had caught her eye, but we had decided not to stray off our route since it would eventually lead us to it in the long run. So, we made our way to the back where their garage was located and scanned all their items. As we were about to leave, I re-examined a box of knick knacks I had quickly sifted through earlier and it was a good thing too! Hidden under some cloth were about 4-5 bags of buttons!! We took all but one, bargained with the seller, and happily made our way back to sort through our findings!
